PRIVACY STATEMENT

The collection and handling of personal information is in accordance with Darebin City Council's Privacy Policy which is displayed on Council's website and available for inspection at, or collection from, Council's Customer Service Centres.

“Forms Express”  is committed to ensuring that the personal information that is received on behalf of Darebin City Council is collected and handled in a responsible manner and in accordance with the Information Privacy Principles (IPP’s) in the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 and in-line with legislative requirements and the City of Darebin’s privacy terms and conditions.

1. In accordance with IPP4 – Data Security, Forms Express will maintain a secure system for the collection, handling and storing of personal information on behalf of Council, and will use appropriate technologies, security methods, operational policies and procedures to protect the information from:

          - Unauthorised access

          - Improper use

          - Alteration in any way.   

2. The personal affairs information that you provide when registering for eNotices, will only be used for the primary purpose that it was collected for, that being for the issue of Rates Assessment Notice electronically, and, or via hard copy in the mail for the ratepayers / recipients, and not for any other secondary purpose without your explicit  permission.

3. Forms Express do not own the personal information collected from Darebin City Council and do not use, nor authorise the use of the personal information for any other purpose except for issuing Rates Assessment Notice electronically, and, or via hard copy in the mail for the ratepayers / recipients. Forms Express do not disclose any personal information from Council to any other parties.
